Fan art! SQUEEEE!!!

It's been a bit of a frantic weekend with much running around not much drawing but I am determined to get those 2 missing days up. Keep checking...

Also, wanted to SQUEEE a little bit...I got my 2nd piece of fanart today. Big shout out to Laura Wilson who does a killer rendition of Red Sparrow and Precursor...and check out Amy who is playing in Precs hair. It's so fun seeing my characters rendered by someone else!

Thanks Laura!!!

Well, the storyline appears to be cooking along and I really hope I can wrap things up by mid February. It's been a lot of fun going full page (for the most part) and daily...it gives me a chance to really push things along as well as not feeling too bad or overly self indulgent with full page panels that are just designed to be purty. (I'm really kind of fond of the one of Precursor running in silhouette down the hall.)

I do need to get my links page finalized...one thing I hope you, my fearless reader, is aware of is that I have started another comic strip.

Be sure to check out Frakking Toasters. It's very much in the same vein that Battle On! used to be... a tongue in cheek fan skewering strip centered around the excellent Sci Fi series, Battlestar Galactica.

Also, I'm an artist and cartooninst which means I use it as my therapy and I'm insecure and love feedback so please email with your questions, comments, fan art and we'll respond to it in this blog. Also I'm looking for some character blog writers so if you think you've got what it takes to put on a personality, drop me a line.

Steve is the best
After nearly a year and a half, Red Sparrow finally has a website that I'm not embarassed to show people. Pretty frakkin' fantastic way to break in 2006. The kudos, cheers and promised first born go to Steve Wei who writes Minions, (which he and Bryce really should start updating again.)

Thanks Steve. Thanks EVER SO.
