Sketchcrawl
Last Saturday I had the opportunity to go on my first sketchcrawl. I met some really fantastic artists and got to hang out with another talented artist I haven't seen in quite a while. He was in first year when I was in third and it was great to see him again.
I've been using pen a lot in my sketchbooks lately...I've found with pencil I've been futzing too much but I fear the pendulum is swinging the other way now... my drawings are becoming TOO loose and gestural. I need to slow down and make sure the structure is more solid in my sketches.
